WHY ARE THEY A LEADER?Amelia Mary Earhart was born in July,27 1897 at her grandparents house at Atchison,Kansas. Surprisingly Amelia wasn't the only one who was leader, her grandfather was a leader of Atchison.
When Amelia was 10 years old she finally had her first airplane. Unfortunately she was more interested in a 'peach basket' than her airplane, until a decade later.
When she was in school she wrote a small speech for the class because she won a prize , it was "honor is the foundation of courage."
in 1920, Amelia's dad and her neighbors started to drink and soon they became alcholics so Amelia's mother brought Amelia and her younger sister,Muriel to live at Chicago.
